Virgin Mobile Canada User Question?

Virgin Mobile doesn't have many phones too choose from,
I was wondering If I bought a phone from another carrier say the iPhone or LG Keybo, from Rogers, bell Etc.
And got it unlocked, would I be able to use it with Virgin Mobile?
Since I am on a 2 year Contract I'm unable to switch carriers.
