| I bought a Rumor2 for Virgin Mobile. I text a lot and hardly talk. The monthly price for unlimited texting is $20.00 which isnt bad, but I just don't understand how they charge the 10cents separately to your cash balance Where's my cash balance? If I only buy a $20 card a month, then I won't have a balance! I don't want to have to buy a $40 card?! HELP PLEASE!! But I was told that Virgin Mobile (NYSE: VM) does not have rollover minutes, is that true? If so then I have NO idea what to do. |

| Hey there, I'm assuming you are on the $20/month Texter's Delight Plan, where you get unlimited messaging, and then each minute is just $0.10 a minute. If you are going to make some calls you will need to add more money to your account than $20. The good news is that you won't have to do that every month. So, if you add say $40 this month, $20 will go towards the Texter's Delight monthly service (+ taxes) and then the rest would be for calls. If you don't use voice too much, then the following month, you just need to add the $20.00. In regards to unused minutes carrying over to the next month, that only applies to our minute packs. If you see your calling needs becoming more prevalent you can always switch to our $29.99 monthly plan and add Unlimited Messaging for $10 more a month, That would give you all you need for $40 a month (+ taxes). You can switch plans right on our website at any time of the month with no penalties. If you want to avoid the upfront costs of buying $50 Top Up cards, or 2 $20 top up cards, you can always register a credit or debit card to control when and how much you want to add to your account. I hope this helps. SA @ Virgin Mobile |
