is a virgin mobile wild card phone good?

im about to get one and im wondering if they are good cell phones

I got one for my daughter for Christmas, she is 16. I signed her up for the pay as you go $19.99 month unlimited text/email/pictures package and the $6.99 month talk which is for .10 a minute.

It works for me because if she breaks a rule, I don't pay for the plan. She pays for her own minutes. She has had no issues with the phone at all and loves it.

In my opinion, this is a good phone. For $99.99 its a great deal for those who want to be free of all the contracts. Its a messaging phone with dual display, so if you are a text fanatic, you'll love this phone. Here are the good and the bad...

The GOOD:
- 1.3 megapixel camera (takes good pictures)
- Multimedia messaging
- Mobile E-mail and I.M
- Full Querty keyboard
- Bluetooth

The BAD:
- Internal display is small
- Speaker not so great
- not so stylish look
- keys on the outside fell rather slippery

Despite the BADS, I believe this phone is great for someone who wants a phone for lots of messaging usuage, and paying a price that won't empty your wallet. I've been for Virgin Mobile (NYSE: VM) for three years, and currently I have the Super Slice, and probably thinking about getting this phone next.
