Default Will Virgin Mobile USA cell phones like the "switchback" work in Canada?
So, Virgin Mobile (NYSE: VM) offers a limited array of telephones here in Canada, but I was wondering if the telephones they offer in the United States would work here? I can see no reason for them not to: it's the same network and the same company. Thank you to anyone who replies. I intend to buy a phone from there and activate / use it here.

No, unfortunately it will NOT work in Canada. In the United States, Virgin Mobile (NYSE: VM) is powered by Sprint. In Canada Virgin Mobile is powered by Bell Mobility. Plus, if you tried to get a phone here, its under Virgin Mobile USA,and Virgin Mobile USA does NOT offer roaming of any type.
