Default What is the Difference between TracFone, Virgin Mobile, Net 10, & Verizon
prepaid phones? i have been wandering. right now im with tracfone and its one minuteper call and .3 for a text is good. i have heard that one of the other ones have a thing that charge you per day that you use the phone. really, out of all listed above, what is the best? I was looking at the Razr was it from Verizon?

To figure out your real costs, divide the card amount by the number of minutes.

For example on the $20 TracFone card you get 60 minutes for a price of $.333/minute. Virgin Mobile (NYSE: VM) USA offers a 200 Minute Pack for $20 which equals only $.10/min and you can roll-forward your Virgin Mobile USA minutes.

If on the $20 Tracfone card you are charged .3 minutes for each text message you would receive 200 Text Messages at $.10 per Text Message.
