Virgin Mobile phone with all papers, no PIN?

I'd like to transfer this phone into my name, with a new telephone number, new PIN, new 'skin' etc. but I don't have the old information, just the phone number and serial number. Can anyone help? Three tries for help at VM's resulted in three rude disconnects on their part!

The PIN code should be the last four digits of your phone number. hope this helps.
