I live in SF, CA and I wanna get a prepaid cellphone for my mom coz she rarely talks on a cell phone. Which one has better reception virgin or cingular?

It would actually be Sprint (NYSE: S) or Cingular....and I'd say that those two are about equal at.....not very good.

Hello, I would say that you should try the Virgin Mobile (NYSE: VM) prepaid phone. The plans and phones are pretty decent.

Virgin has better reception.. Cingular AT&T really sucks. But the Virgin Mobile (NYSE: VM) phones are cheap and low quality, if the wind blows on it too hard it may break.

Get a Virgin, we use the Sprint (NYSE: S) network, so you r basically towering of sprint nationwide network. You can buy it at my site www.heliobyvirginphones.com . Our plans are very cheap and u get nites at 7pm.
