they take my first payment? Hi i just received my Virgin Mobile (NYSE: VM) monthly contract phone yesterday, i'm a little bit clueless about these things. When will they take my first payment so i can get my 150 minutes and 250 texts?

My tariff is £14 on 18 month basis and i get 3 months free - if this helps.

Oh and when i go into my online Virgin Mobile account it says i'm on "Our Pay As You Go tariff" i thought i was on a monthly contract? at least that's what i ordered.

In the US, Virgin Mobile (NYSE: VM) doesn't offer a monthly contract, however you can register a credit card, pick a Monthly Plan that fits your needs, add text pkg and a data plan. And they will deduct that total amount each month. Once you pick everything that you want they will give you a total of what your monthly bill will be. It's rather convenient and no contract to tie you in. Wonderful! I do the $34.99 it offers 300 anytime and 1000 night and weekend which start at 7pm daily and $5.00 for 1000 text msgs. The bill is about $42 a month. They will deduct it when you submit it and send a email confirmation.
