Is Virgin Mobile the best prepaid phone?

From my research, it seems to be. I pretty much intend to use it only in emergencies. With Virgin Mobile, as long as you pay $20 every 90 days, your minutes never expire. Other companies had similar rates, but the minutes expire after 30 or 90 days.
Anyone have experience with this?

I think that T-mobil ToGo is the best plan because they charge the same per minute as Virgin Moble but after you spend $100 you get Gold rewards, where your minutes last 1 Year and you get bonus minutes.

Also the phone initally costs you less

I purchased a Tracfone several years ago and am very happy with it. The service is great, the minutes are reasonable and keep accumulating. You can add 60 minutes for $20, and pay $5 extra to extend it to 90 days. Very worth it, considering the minutes just keep adding up! I have since accumulated a LOT of minutes, as I have a cell for work, and have given it to my 6-yr-old.
