Inactive Sim Vodafone?

Hello i recently bought a second hand phone from Pakistan K850I and my Vodafone (NYSE: VOD) sim dosent work it says inactive sim and my parents vodafone sims dont work on it either but it works on their phones is their any way i can quickly get this sorted out thankyou
