Is there a way for cheap/free mobile internet on vodafone?

I have a Vodafone (NYSE: VOD) phone but it currently costs me 50p a day to go on the internet.. this may sound cheap but it adds up when you use it everyday.. im on PAYG, is there a way i can get cheaper/free internet? On T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) you can buy a 30 day pack.. i would change but my phone is locked to vodafone
