| Hi, I've got a Vodafone (NYSE: VOD) contract and it doesn't expire til March 2010. But i'd like to cancel its as i'm getting a mortgage with my partner as we've got a little daughter and need the extra money. I've even tried lowering the tarriff but they even tell me that I can't do that. I can cancel but it'll cost me 500 odd pounds. While i can afford this I'd like to avoid it dues to my other responsibilities. Can anyone advise me on what i may be able to do? Many thanks |

| Unfortunately you signed up for an 18 month term so unless you're prepared to buy yourself out of it there's nothing you can do. Generally you can lower your tariff half way through your contract term. Unless the network has breached the contract in some way you're pretty much stuck with it. Hope this helps =) |
