Default PDA-Phone WM6 and higher: What is a good alternative for MS-Reader?

MS-Reader used to work great for me, but now that my phone has Windows Mobile 6.1 (and possibly soon 6.5), it doesn't work properly any more. Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT) stopped the development, hence the eBooks in .lit format are doomed. I would like to know if there is a usable alternative. PDFs are often hard to read due to fixed page-sizes. There is no word-wrapping/resizing version (as far as I know) that makes pdfs easier to read on a small screen.
I prefer to read a lot of books on my phone, since it's easier to carry around and wherever I have to wait for a while, I read.
And I forgot to mention a bookmark functionality, it's an absolute needed feature.
